Detektorene (7a, 7b) reagerer på sentralenheten ved en økning av den forbrukte strøm (IL). En detektor (7a, 7b) detekterer adressen sendt av sentralenheten og sender tilbake strømforandringer synkronisert med synkroniseringssignaler.
