Abstract
En tørker (2) som gjennom en faststoffsluse (3) er atskilt fra et spaltingsanlegg (2) oppvarmes til mere enn 200°C ved sirkulering av en utløpsdampstrøm som oppvarmes ved varmeutveksling med avgassen fra spaltingsanlegget (1), hvorved både fuktinnholdet og krystallvannet ut- drives, hvorved det i det tilsluttede spaltingsanlegg (1) utvinnes vanndampsfritt syreanhydrid (S02) av det de- hydrerte salt, mens metalloksidet gjenvinnes eller til- føres for ny anvendelse. Syreanhydridet kan kondenseres og markedsføres på grunn av sin renhet.
