Abstract
A rail vehicle weighing device, comprising: a transverse beam formed as a ridge providing the underlying support for a rail pair attached to the crossbar; a load cell (21) for each rail (3), wherein the load cell is disposed between the rail and the transverse beam and is of a type having a large load-absorbing surface and a small height and is load-insensitive laterally, the load cells being preferably of the type having a pressure recording fluid (23) disposed in the form of a thin layer between two parallel plates; means (19, 31, 33, 35) for adjustable biasing of the load cells (21); and devices for evaluating the output signals from the load cells. The load cells (21) and the associated fluid pressure regulated biasing unit (19) are arranged in the rail anchor plate.
