Abstract

Skjøtekobling for rørledninger, f.eks. for skjøting av to rørender (10, 11) ved kaldt- eller varmtvanns- ledninger innen en bygning. Koblingen omfatter en skruehylse (13) som er dimensjonert for å romme rørendene (10, 11) og som ved hver av endene er forsynt med utvendige gjenger (12) og en mutterhylse (15) med tilsvarende innvendige gjenger (14). The screw and nut sleeves (13, 15) are provided with surfaces which cooperate with clamping rings (17) which, by tightening the nut sleeves (15), deform around the pipe ends and fix these inside the nut sleeves (15). For the purpose of simplifying the formation of a tight joint, the screw sleeve (13) is provided with an inner stop (18) for the pipe ends (10, 11). This stop is located at a distance from one end of the screw sleeve, which at least corresponds to the normal insertion depth of the pipe end, to form a joint with a full seal. The distance between said abutment (18) and the other screw sleeve end corresponds mainly to double normal insertion depth.
