Abstract

Slepbar flytekabel omfattende en oppdriftskjerne (19) og strekkelementer (3) for overføring av strekkraft lags flytekabelen. Strekkelementene (3) er slik anordnet at flytekabelen er tilstrekkelige elastisk for en forut- bestemt forlengelse av kabelen. Elementer (3) er innleiret i en innermantel (5) som omsluttes av en yttermantel (6). Montasjen er innkapslet i en ekstrudert yttermantel (2) Flettede databærere (4) kan være anordnet mellom inner- mantlene (5,6). Strekkelementer (3) kan være sammenflettet og mellomrommene impregnert med gel. Hvis Strekkelementene (3) består av uelastisk materiale, er fletningen innled- ningsvis elastisk ved liten forlengelse av flytekabelen, men bli uelastisk når flytekabelen forlenges ytterligere. Det kan alternativt anvendes en kombinasjon av elastiske og uelastiske elementer (hhv. 3 og 14) hvis de elastiske elementer (3) bare bringes i funksjon etter en forutbe- stemt forlengelse av flytekabelen.
