Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for regulering av bek i en masse er kjennetegnet ved at den omfatter sekvensiell tilsetning til massen av (1) l-io kg/t masse av en polymer, vannløselig andel med lav molekylvekt og med høy kationisk ladning, så som slike som er avledet fra uorganiske aluminiumsalter eller kvaternære polyaminer, og (2) fra 0,5 til mindre enn 10 kg/t masse av montmorillonitt-leirpartikler, så som bentonitt, hvor leirpartiklene er blitt kjemisk modifisert for å forbedre adsorpsjonskapasitet eller behandlet på annen måte for å øke den anioniske ladningsdensitet for dispersjonen, men uten noen vannløselige kationisk polymer i forbindelse med partiklene.
