Abstract

Telefontilbehør eller en telefon som omfatter slikt tilbehør og har en smartkortleser (10) for å gi brukerne større bruksmuligheter. Et hovedkonsept bevirker at smartkort kan utføre interaktiv forbindelse med en tjenesteyter som anropes av brukeren. Der- etter kan normal taledrift gjenopprettes ved at smartkortet avslutter det digi- tale samband. I en utførelse har tele- fontilbehøret sin smartkortleser koblet til en modemenhet som på sin side er koblet til en nettport i tilbehøret via en omkobler (22). Denne omkobler er koblet til nettporten via brukerens telefon og styres av en styreenhet (23) som reagerer på utvalgte styresignaler såsom taleenergien fra brukerens tele- fon, .talesignaler eller bærebølgesig- nalet fra nettet og bærebølgen eller digitale signaler fra modemenheten.
