En fremgangsmåte for måling av eroderbarheten av borefiuidavsetninger og skjærbelastningen som er nødvendig for å fjerne borefiuidavsetninger dannet på en brønnborings (10) vegger er tllvelebragt. Fremgangs- måten Innbefatter grunnleggende å Innføre et borefluld (16) Inn l et testapparat (20) som simulerer en permeabel seksjon l en brønnboring (10). Borefluld- avsetnlngene får man til å danne seg på veggene av den permeable seksjon, og borefluldet (16) sirkuleres gjennom den permeable seksjon ved progressivt økende strømningsmengder for å bestemme trykkfallet under hvilket ingen betraktelig erosjon av borefluldavset- ningene finner sted som svarer til den minimum skjærbelastning som er nødvendig for å erodere avsetningene. Eroderbarheten til borefluldet (16) som er omvendt proporsjonalt med den minimum skjærbelast- ning kan også fastslås. Apparatur for å utføre fremgangsmåtene er også tllveiebragt.
