Abstract

The cross-sectional geometry of the foam structure substantially corresponds to the overall arrangement of the openings in the nozzle from which the polyethylene foam material is extruded. A process for preparing the above foam structure is further described which comprises extruding a foamable polyolefin material through the multiple aperture nozzle to form the structure.
