Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte og et arrange- ment for fremstilling av delvis herdede produkter (D) tilvirket av profilert, tynt platemetall. Fremgangs- måten kjennetegnes ved å fremstille et antall herdede partier (E) langs lengden av et l utgangspunktet formet profil (R) mens profilet fremføres kontinuerlig i en produksjonslinje, og så ved å skjære eller klippe profilet ved dets ikke-herdede partier som befinner seg mellom de herdede partier (H), og videre forme profilet (R) for slik å oppnå sluttprodukter (D) av ønsket form og størrelse. Det nye arrangement innbefatter en oppvarmingsenhet (IS) i form av en elektrisk spole/- sløyfe (19) som er tilpasset tverrsnittsformen av profilet (R) og som kan styres tidsvis for slik å bare' varme opp visse deler av det kontinuerlig fremførte profil (R) langs dets lengde, for dermed å fremstille de herdede partier (K) langs profilets lengde. I samsvar med den foreliggende oppfinnelse kan profilet (R) og dermed sluttproduktene (D) bli forsynt med intermitterende avstivninger i riller (G ) .
