In the capping according to the invention, the vacuum formation on the underside is improved in that each two immediately succeeding elongated-hole openings (12) are assigned an air baffle (14) which runs substantially parallel to the elongated-hole openings (12) and is arranged such that it cuts off an air flow transversely to the longitudinal direction (L) of the capping through a water-drainage region (15) bounded by the chimney-like elongated-hole openings (12), without preventing water drainage. <IMAGE>
