Antall sløyfer er n dersom antall N fotoner 1 lnltlalpulen er større enn 10n. Disse eløyfene er forbundet sammen to og to fulgt etterhverandre ved hjelp av første optiske retnlngskoplInger (2,>••-2(n-)' med relativt liten optisk kopllngskoeffeslent lik omkring.
