Abstract
A clapper arrangement (1) is described in which a gap (7) is provided obliquely in the interior of a coil (2), a coil core (3) and an armature tongue (6) being located opposite one another, the armature tongue (6) being permanently connected to an armature (5) and the armature (5) with the armature tongue (6) being able to move around a point of rotation (8) against the fixed parts of the magnetic circuit. Only the weight of the armature (5) with the armature tongue (6) is used as restoring force. The clapper arrangement (1) needs extremely low coil power for operation, contains its own power supply and is predominantly used in counting mechanisms with tariff switching or for forming maxima. It does not disturb the magnetic fields needed in the meter and can be produced inexpensively. <IMAGE>
