Abstract

Circuit arrangement for the electric supply of devices in a telephone set enabling to supply the devices with an optimum power. To this effect, there is provided at the input of the telephone set a transverse member (35) with an ohmic resistance characteristics which regulates for all loop currents the admissible maximum input voltage so that it is always possible to draw the maximum power. A priority network (36) connected downstream of the transverse member distributes said power to the different consumers, the currents which are not necessary for a consumer being distributed to the consumer having the next lowest priority. A lower priority output with inherent current limitation supplies a sound hearing or free speaking final stage (38, 39), so that said final stage has always at disposal the maximum excess power.
