Description
The present invention relates to a hydromassage nozzle, particularly of the kind that can be applied directly to the pipe that carries water under pressure. Hydromassage systems based on the principle of using a stream of water mixed with air have been known and widespread for many years. For the supply of water flow and for mixing it with air, it is known and has been used nozzles fixed permanently in the walls of a bathtub or container in which the body of the person to be subjected to hydromassage is immersed.
The nozzles must be connected to the pipe that supplies water under pressure and to an air outlet so that in the case where the bathtubs and systems have a certain number of nozzles, the piping becomes complicated and expensive. The main purpose of the present invention is to obtain a hydromassage nozzle of an improved type which allows simplification of the piping and greater flexibility in the arrangement and settings of the hydromassage nozzles.
Another object of the present invention is to obtain a nozzle of smaller sizes than those conventionally known while maintaining the same functional operation.
These and other purposes are achieved with the hydromassage nozzle in accordance with the present invention which is characterized in that it includes an element for water supply and air mixing and a union connectable to said element and connected to a negative air pressure source, where the element has a venturi tube section and is equipped with water inlet openings provided in the side walls thereof so that mounting the nozzle across the pipes for water supply under pressure arranges said openings across the water flow.
In accordance with a first embodiment of the nozzle according to the invention, the union has a pipe for conducting air to the narrowed section of the venturi where the air is mixed.
In accordance with a variant embodiment of the nozzle in accordance with the invention, the air is led to the outlet of the venturi tube section where the mixing thus takes place downstream of this.

Med henvisning til fig. 1, 3 og 4 innbefatter dysen i samsvar med oppfinnelsen som er indikert ved henvisningsnummer 10, With reference to fig. 1, 3 and 4 include the nozzle according to the invention indicated by reference number 10,
et element 11 og en union for luft 12.an element 11 and a union for air 12.
elementet består av en i hovedsak sylindrisk blokk traversert aksielt av en kanal 13 med differensiert snitt. the element consists of an essentially cylindrical block traversed axially by a channel 13 with a differentiated section.
Nærmere bestemt er kanalen 13 forsynt med en fremre seksjonMore specifically, the channel 13 is provided with a front section
14 for outflow with a venturi tube design, an intermediate section 15 for inlet in the transverse direction of the water and an upstream section 16 in which the air suction union 12 is accommodated.
As can be clearly seen in fig. 9, the union 12 includes a flange part 17 which is accommodated in the section 16 and a channel 18 created axially at the channel 13 and ending a short distance from the mouth of the venturi section after traversing the entire section 15.
At section 15, element 11 has an opening 19 for water inlet.
Fig. 2 specifically shows the installation of the nozzle 10 in a pipe 20 for the supply of water under pressure in the direction of the arrow 21.
In particular, the nozzle 10 is mounted transversely to the axis of the pipe 20 in a calibrated hole created in the wall opposite the pipe in such a way that the outflow section projects into the hydromassage bathtub of which the wall 22 is represented.
In order to attach the nozzle to the bath, the front part of the nozzle, i.e. of the cylindrical block which forms the element 11, is threaded as indicated by reference plate 23 and where the threaded connection is engaged by a shaped locking ring nut 24 associated with a sealing gasket 27.
A pipe 25 for the supply or suction of air is connected through a suitable branch to the section 16 of the nozzle and in particular to the channel 18 of the union 12.
From the above description it becomes clear how the present invention makes it possible to adapt the location of the nozzle on the basis of a given and possible already existing
terende foranstaltning på rørsystemet.tering measure on the pipe system.
Furthermore, the nozzle according to the present invention is smaller than the hitherto known nozzles without affecting the function and reliability.
More specifically, it is possible with the nozzles according to the invention to carry out hydromassage arrangements such as those shown in fig. 5 and 6, in the first figure below the bathtub 26 the pipes 20 and 25 run so that the nozzles 10 deliver a massage flow from the bottom of the bathtub 26.
I arrangementene ifølge fig. In the arrangements according to fig. 6, the nozzles and pipes 20 and 25 are located on the side of the bath.
The nozzle according to the invention allows quick adjustment of the operation of each nozzle on the basis of the hydromassage cycle and desired needs.
Dysen vist i fig. The nozzle shown in fig. 7 includes an element 32 having an axial channel with sections of different diameters and more specifically the inlet section or union 31, the outflow section 33 shaped like a venturi tube, and an intermediate section 34
This union is shaped like an angle tube in such a way that its downstream end 36 is created with the axis of the section 33 shaped like a venturi tube while the upstream end has a flange 37 housed in a chamber 38 for communication with an air suction can - al 39.
The flange 37 and thus the union 35 is held in place by a plug 40 and by a compression spring 41.
Reference is now made to fig. 8-14 where another embodiment of the nozzle in accordance with the invention is shown, which deviates from those shown in the above-mentioned embodiments in that the air is mixed with the water downstream from said section, before the actual outlet instead of inside the venturi tube section.
I fig. In fig. 8, the reference number 120 indicates the water supply channel which runs in the direction of the arrow 121 so that in this case the nozzle is also mounted across the channel 120. The nozzle includes a substantially cylindrical element 111 in which is arranged a front end union, a venturi tube section 51 and a rear end union 52 for air inlet.
The union 52 is arranged in a suitable hole made in the wall of the channel 120 and is shown in more detail in Figs. 12, 13 and 14. More specifically, it includes a branch pipe 53 for air inlet and three smaller pipes leading to seats in corresponding holes made in the venturi tube section 51.
An annular chamber 55 is formed on the inside of the element 111 into which channels 54 lead air to the inlet of the outlet union 50.
The outlet union 50 which can be seen in fig. 10 and 11 are essentially conical with the exception of a small final bulge and are attached to the inside of the body 111 by threaded connection 56 or similar attachment devices.
Venturi-rørseksjonen 51 (vist i fig. The venturi tube section 51 (shown in Fig. 9) is in turn mounted within the element 111 by threaded connections 57 or by a functionally equivalent device and projects towards the mouth of the outlet union 50.
Som det klart kan ses i fig. 8, vil montering av elementetAs can be clearly seen in fig. 8, will mount the item
111 i et hull av røret 120 diametralt motsatt til det hvor den bakre union 52 er montert etterlate et rom 119 gjennom hvilket vann, som strømmer i kanalen 120 under passende trykk penetrere venturi-rørseksjonen på samme måte som dysene illu-strert i de forangående figurer med unntak at i dette tilfelle 111 in a hole of the tube 120 diametrically opposite to that where the rear union 52 is mounted leaving a space 119 through which water flowing in the channel 120 under suitable pressure penetrates the venturi tube section in the same way as the nozzles illustrated in the preceding figures except that in this case
skjer luftinnblanding nedstrøms fra denne, istedenfor at det skjer i venturi-rørseksjonen. air mixing occurs downstream from this, instead of it happening in the venturi tube section.
It is clear that in this case too, one of the basic advantages of the present invention is maintained, i.e. direct mounting on the water supply channel with important structural and installation simplifications.
The present invention has been described for a preferred embodiment, but it is to be understood that conceptually and mechanically equivalent modifications and variations are possible and foreseeable without exceeding its limits and it is further to be understood that each feature is to be considered both individually and in combination with the others .
