Description
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører oljesammensetninger inne-holdende et s i 1 ik o no 1 j ead d i t i v.
Lavtemperaturegenskapene, f.eks. hellepunktet til lette industrioljer, forbedres ved tilsetning av visse additiver. I øyeblikket får lette basisoljer for bruk som elektriske oljer deres hellepunkt nedsatt ved tilsetning av ikke-polara additiver basert på hydrokarbonpolymerer. Man har nå funnet visse utvalgte organosiloksaner som overraskende gir god he 1lepunktnedse11else når de tilsettes til lette mineral-oljer. Organosiloksanene har meget lav polaritet og viser utmerkede dielektriske egenskaper hvilket gjør dem egnet for anvendelse i elektriske oljer. Videre modifiserees ikke disse organosyloksanene de fysikalsk-kjemiske egenskapene til basisoljen slik som når andre additiver benyttes. Disse andre additivene kan forringe egenskaper slik som grensef latespenning og forårsake dielektriske tap, hvilke er kritiske parametre for isolasjonsoljer.
Ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse er det tilveiebragt en olje-sammensetning som omfatter en større vektandel av en olje som har en kinematisk viskositet på 5-30 cSt ved 40°C og en mindre vektandel av en organosiloksan med formelen:
hvor R 1 uavhengig er metyl, etyl eller propyl, R 2 uavhengig er C^q-C2øalkyl, og n er 12-28.
Oljen er vanligvis en mineralolje av elektrisk kvalitet eller av isolerende kvalitet. Oljen kan således være en rettkjedet mineralsk smøreolje eller et destillat avledet fra parafinisk råoljejnaftenisk råolje, asfaltråolje eller blandede råoljer. Oljen kan alternativt være en ekstrahert oljef remstilt f.eks. ved opp1øsningsmiddelekstraksjon med et oppløsningsmiddel slik som fenolj svoveldioksyd, furfural, diklordiety leter, nitrobenzen eller crotonaldehyd.
En mineralolje som er særlig egnet som en elektrisk olje, omfatter en som er fremstilt ved raffinering av petroleum-destillater ved forskjellige prosesser, hvor den mest vanlige er behandling med et selektivt oppløsningsmiddel slik som fenol eller furfural for å fjerne i det minste noen av de aromatiske forbindelsene, avvoksingsbehandling ved oppløsningsmiddel-avvoksing (hvor oppløsningsmiddelet f.eks. er propan, diklormetan, ketoner:metyletylketon/- mety liso-butylketon, metyletylketon-/toluen) eller urea-avvoksing eller behandling med en aktivert jordart og/eller hydro-genering.
Nøytralolje 60 er også spesieltegnet for bruk i transformator o1jesammensetninger (viskositet ved 40°C = 8 cSt, flamme-punkt >140°C). Nøytralbasisoljer 90 (viskositet ved 40°C^1 20 cSt) kan også benyttes.
Oljen må ha en kinematisk viskositet mellom 5 og 30 cSt ved 40°C, og en viskositet mellom 5 og 20 cSt ved 40°C foretrek-kes.
I organosiloksanen med formelen:
er fortrinnsvis minst 50% av R<*->alkylgruppene metyl. Fortrinnsvis er hver R -alkylgruppe uavhengig en C^-, C^-eller g-alkylgruppe, spesielt C-j^-, C-^- eller C^-rett-kjedede alkylgrupper. Det er også foretrukket at n varierer fra 16 til 22, mer foretrukket fra 18 til 20, f.eks. 20.
En særlig foretrukket organosiloksan er en som har f o rmelen:
Mengden av organosiloksan som tilsettes til oljen, kan variere, forutsatt at den utgjør en mindre vektandel. I praksis bør mengden være 0,01-10,0 vekt-%, fortrinnsvis 0,01-5 vekt-%, f.eks. ca. 0,1 vekt-% basert på oljens total-vekt.

Det er vanligvis ikke nødvendig å tilsette andre additiver, men dersom dette skulle være ønskelig, kan mindre mengder, f.eks. 0,01-2 vekt-% basert på oljen, av anti oksydasjons-midler av fenol- eller amintypen tilsettes for transformator o1jeanvende1ser . Dersom sammensetningene ifølge oppfin-nelsen benyttes for andre anvendelser, kan konvensjonelle additiver tilsettes.
Det er ikke bare funnet at oljesammensetningene ifølge opp-finnelsen viser et meget redusert hellepunkt sammenlignet med oljen alene, men det er også funnet at oksydasjons-stabiliteten blir noe forbedret sammenlignet med oljen alene.
I de følgende eksempler var det benyttede organosiloksan-additivet et med formelen:
Eksempel 1
0rganisoliksan-additivet ble tilsatt ved forskjellige mengder til en oppløsningsmiddelekstrahert, oppløsningsmiddel-avvokset og hydroraffinert transformator-basisolje, og hellepunktet ble målt. Transformator-basisoljen hadde en kinematisk viskositet ved 40°C på 8 cSt, et aromatisk karboninnhold (ved infrarød måling) på 14%, et naturlig hellepunkt på-27°C, et fl ammepunkt ^140°C og et svovel-innhold på 0,35 vekt-%. He 11epunktene som ble oppnådd etter tilsetning av forskjellige mengder av additivet, var som følger:
Eksempel 2
I dette eksempel ble det samme organisiloksan-additivet (additiv A) tilsatt til den samme trans f ormatorbasiso1jen som i eksempel 1. For saramenligningsformål ble det også ut-ført forsøk under anvendelse av et konvensjonelt hellepunkt-nedsettende middel (additiv 3). Oksydasjonsstabi1iteten til den resulterende sammensetning ble også undersøkt ved hjelp av Baader-oksydasjonstesten .
Det fremgår således at additivet ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse gir sammenlignbare resultater med dem som er vist for additiv B, men med behandlingsmengder på bare 20% av den for additiv B.
Eksempel 3
Additiv A ble tilsatt til forskjellige lette oljer ved behandlingsmengder på 0,1 og 0,3 vekt-% basert på vekten av oljen, og he 11epunktene ble målt. Alle oljene var opp-1 øsningsmidde1 ra f finerte og oppløsningsmiddelavvoksede oljer. Resultatene var som følger:
Det fremgår således at det ikke oppnås noen merkbar reduk-sjon i hellepunkt med oljer som har kinematiske viskositetar på 35 cST ved 40°C.
