Tjeneren setter sammen prosessflyten fra prosessflytspesifikasjonen og eksekverer prosessflyten. En prosessflyt kan innrettes for å analysere innvirkningen (f.eks. den økonomiske innvirkningen) av et antall usikkerheter knyttet til flere realverdier. Usikkerhetsvariabler anvendes for å karakterisere usikkerhetene knyttet til realverdiene. En usikkerhetsvariabel knyttet til én realverdi kan være funksjonelt avhengig av en usikkerhetsvariabel knyttet til en annen realverdi.
