Description
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en beskyttelsesgass og en fremgangsmåte for lasersveising av aluminium ifølge den innledende delen av kravene 1 og 4.
Ved lasersveising av aluminium anvendes argon, helium og blandinger derav som beskyttelsesgass.
Anvendelse av rent nitrogen blir av og til også forsøkt, men dårlige materialverdier på grunn av nitriddannelse skaper problemer.
Alt i alt er laser-sveiseteknikken av aluminium enda i begynnelsen og sømutseendet er ofte lite tilfredsstillende i forhold til stålsveising.
Gjenstand for oppfinnelsen er å tilveiebringe en beskyttelsesgass på grunnlag av argon, helium eller argon-helium-blandinger for lasersveising av aluminium og som gjennom tilføring av en ytterligere komponent fører til en tydelig forbedring av sveiseforholdet uten at det blir tilveiebragt metallurgiske uheldige effekter.
Med utgangspunkt i innledningen til kravene 1 og 4 hvor teknikkens stand er beskrevet er oppgaven ifølge oppfinnelsen løst med trekkene angitt i den kjenntegnende delen av kravene 1 og 4.
Foretrukne ytterligere utviklinger ifølge oppfinnelsen er angitt i underkravene 2, 3, 5 og 6.
Basisblandinger med 50 til 70% heliumdeler har vist seg å være spesielt gunstig. Men også med rent argon oppnås fordelaktige effekter. Under 80 vpm sees ikke ytterligere effekt. Over 250 vpm kan det gi et dårligere sømutseende når også sveiseforholdet blir sammenlignet med en tilblandingsfri beskyttelsesgass fortsatt er noe mere gunstig. Det er også økende fare for dårligere sømmaterialverdier.
Claims (6)
1.
Beskyttelsesgass for lasersveising av aluminium bestående av argon, helium eller argon-helium blandinger, karakterisert ved en tilførsel av 80 vpm til 250 vpm N2, N20 eller N2-N20-blanding.

Beskyttelsesgass ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved en tilførsel av 120 vpm til 180 vpm N2, N20 eller N2-N20-blanding.

Beskyttelsesgass ifølge krav 2, karakterisert ved en tilførsel av 150 vpm N2, N20 eller N2-N20-blanding.

Fremgangsmåte for lasersveising av aluminium under en beskyttelsesgass av argon, helium eller argon-helium-blandinger, karakterisert ved a t beskyttelsesgassen tilsettes 80 vpm til 250 vpm N2, N20 eller N2-N20-blanding.

Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 4, karakterisert ved at det til beskyttelsesgassen tilsettes 120 vpm til 180 vpm N2, N20 eller N2-N20-blanding.

Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 5, karakterisert ved at det til beskyttelsesgassen tilsettes 150 vpm N2, N20 eller N2-N20-blanding.
