Abstract

Fluidsirkulasjonsventil (10) er fremskaffet for bruk i en brønnboringsoperasjon, slik at en boreskjøt kan tilføres eller fjernes fra borestrengen idet fluid sirkuleres inn i brønnen. Ventilhus (16, 12) haren sentral strømningsbane deri, en hussideport (87), og øvre og nedre skrudde koblinger for inngrep med henholdsvis boreskjøten og borestrengen. En roterbar kule (24) er posisjonert innen strømningsbanen i ventilhuset og en kulesideport (15) i fluidkommunikasjon med hussideporten (87) når kulen er lukket. Et verktøy (80) er anordnet for å oppta ventilhuset og å tette mellom et indre av ventilhuset og den radialt utvendige strømningsledning, som fører fluid inn i brønnen når en boreskjøt forbindes til den øvre ende av ventilen.
