Et system for styring av fluidstrømmen i en grenbrønn fra et reservoar (29), hvilket system innbefatter en komplettert hovedbrønn (27) med minst én ukomplettert grenbrønn (25), et ringrom (24) avgrenset mellom reservoaret (29) og et produksjonsrør (1) for den kompletterte hovedbrønnen (27) og minst to påfølgende svellpakninger eller konstriktorer (26) som avgrenser minst ett langsgående avsnitt av hovedbrønnen (27) og i hvilket ,minst én grenbrønn (25) er anordnet, og innbefattende minst én autonom ventil (2) anordnet i nevnte langsgående avsnitt av hovedbrønnen (27) avgrenset mellom nevnte to påfølgende svellpakninger eller konstriktorer (26). Det er også beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for styring av fluidstrømmen i en grenbrønn fra et reservoar (29).
