Abstract

Det beskrives en anordning for å bestemme egenhastigheten til et vanngående fartøy ved hjelp av Dopplermåling. Anordningen innbefatter minst en antenne som er lokalisert på fartøyet og som er sammensatt av flere ekvidistant plasserte elektroaukustisketransdusere. Den minst ene antennen oppviser en hovedretning for sending og mottak av lydbølger, hvilken hovedretning er skråstilt i forhold til det plan som er definert av fartøyets lengdeakse og tverrakse med en bestemt vinkel ved å drive transduseme på faseforskjøvet vis. For å utvide driftsrekkevidden til anordningen (grunt vann, dypt vann) mens det er i stand til å arbeide samtidig parallelt med sonarsystemer som er anordnet på fartøyet, er transduseme konfigurert på bredbåndsvis og kan på selektivt vis bli "avfyrt" ved minst en av to sendefrekvenser som er vesentlig forskjellig fra hverandre.
