Oppfinnelsen vedrører en krumningsbegrenser (28) for et hydrokarbonoverførende undervannssystem (10) som kjennetegnes ved at den omfatter et fleksibelt rørformet element (28) som et mellomparti (22) av det fleksible rør (20) passerer igjennom, hvor nevnte fleksible rørformede element (28) omfatter en flerhet av i det vesentlige sylindriske seksjoner som følger etter hverandre, hvilke er hengslende montert med hensyn til hverandre med en forutbestemt maksimumsforskyvning som angir et middelplan på en slik måte at nevnte fleksible rørformede element (28) danner en middelkrumning som har nevnte middelplans forutbestemte krumningsradius.
