Abstract
Innretning for detektering av en strøm i et beskyttelses- og målestrømområde omfatter en strømsensor (1) som genererer et spenningssignal, og et spenningsbegrenset elektronisk element (7). For målespenningssignaler som overstiger den øvre målespenningsgrensen for det elektroniske elementet eller for beskyttelsesspenningssignaler som overstiger den øvre beskyttelsesspenningsgrensen for det elektroniske elementet blir et dempeledd (3) med en dempningsfaktor som er større enn 1 elektrisk koblet til strømsensoren (1). Dempningsfaktoren blir valgt slik at målespenningssignalet dividert med dempningsfaktoren er mindre enn eller lik øvre målespenningsgrense for det elektroniske elementet, eller beskyttelsesspenningssignalet dividert med dempningsfaktoren er mindre enn eller lik den øvre beskyttelsesspenningsgrensen for det elektroniske elementet.
