Abstract

Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer en fremgangsmåte for å produsere elektrisk kraft for levering til et elektrisk kraftoverføringsnett, som omfatter å tilveiebringe minst ett kombinert varme- og kraftanlegg som produserer varme og elektrisk kraft fra biomasse, fossilt brensel, kjernebrensel eller kombinasjoner av disse, å tilveiebringe et brennstoffproduserende anlegg for å produsere karbon- og/eller nitrogenbaserte brennstoffer ved å bruke elektrisk kraft fra minst ett kombinert varme- og kraftanlegg og en kombinasjon av karbondioksid og hydrogen og/eller karbonholdige gasser og/eller karbonholdige væsker og/eller nitrogen. Fremgangsmåten omfatter videre å bestemme behovet for elektrisk kraft i det elektriske kraftoverføringsnettet og levere den nødvendige elektriske kraften til nettet, og levere et eventuelt overskudd av elektrisk kraft til det brennstoffproduserende anlegget.
