Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører generelt et borehullverktøy for selektiv isolering av en del av et borehull fra en ytterligere del av borehullet. I et aspekt tilveiebringes en fremgangsmåte for selektiv isolering av en sone i borehullet. Fremgangsmåten inkluderer trinnet med å posisjonere et nedhullsverktøy i borehullet. Nedhullsverktøyet har en boring med et første klaffelement og et andre klaffelement anbrakt deri, hvorved hvert klaffelement initialt er i en åpen posisjon. Fremgangsmåten inkluderer også trinnet med å bevege det første klaffelement til en lukket posisjon ved å rotere det første klaffelement i én retning. Videre inkluderer fremgangsmåten trinnet med å bevege det andre klaffelement til en lukket posisjon ved å rotere det andre klaffelement i en motsatt retning, hvorved hvert klaffelement er bevegbart flere ganger mellom den åpne posisjon og den lukkede posisjon.
