Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for å legge inn en optisk signatur i et dokument og dokument fremstilt derfra. Den optiske signatur er et optisk mønster generert fra en kjent verdi, som eksempel en matematisk verdi, geometrisk verdi, trigonometrisk verdi, størrelse, fase og liknende, og hvor den samme verdi kan genereres fra undersøkelse av et dokument som har det innlagte optiske mønster. Dokumentet kan valideres, ekthetskontrolleres, eller det kan avgjøres hvor vidt det er en gyldig kopi av et originaldokument med den innlagte optiske signatur gjort gjennom sammenlikning av den kjente verdi og verdien generert fra det optiske mønster på dokumentet. Det optiske mønster kan også genereres fra andre identifikasjonskoder på dokumentet.
