Abstract
Ved en fremgangsmåte for detektering av mål som i et medium stiåler ut bølgeenergi, ved hjelp av entropibestemmelse i tidsavsnitt av elektriske mottakssignaler i en i et medium i en avstand fra målet anordnet mottaker, blir det for detektering av mål, som særUg stiåler ut bredbåndet, støybelastede og energifattige signaler, gjennomført en lineær tiansformering av mottakssignalenes tidsavsnitt, hvoretter enfropien tU den transformerte bestemmes og det ut fra endringer av entiopien i den tiansformerte kan frekkes slutninger med hensyn til målet. For den lineære tiansformasjon gjennomføres det en Fourier-analyse og/eller en Wavelet- dekomponering av mottakssignalene.
