Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for å forutsi litologi og porøsitet for undergrunns-bergarter fra seismiske refleksjonsdata. De seismiske dataene blir invertert for å gi elastiske egenskaper ved bergartene, slik som kompresjons- og skjær-impedansene. En bergartsfysikk-modell blir laget for å relatere porøsitet, skifervolumandelen, fluidinnholdet i bergarten og de elastiske egenskapene til bergarten med hverandre. Modellen blir kjørt baklengs i en annen inverteringsprosess for å løse med hensyn på porøsitet og litologiske egenskaper, slik som skifervolumandelen.
