Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning for innhenting av seismiske signaler fra under et saltområde i grunnen. I én utførelse innbefatter fremgangsmåten avstemming av et luftkanonsett etter en første bobleoscillasjon, sleping av luftkanonsettet i vannet på et dyp på minst 10 meter, idet luftkanonsettet har et totalvolum i området fra ca. 202 m3 (6780 fot3) til ca. 288 m3 (10170 fot3), retting av akustiske signaler med luftkanonsettet ned gjennom vannet og inn i grunnen under saltområdet, sleping av én elle flere seismikkabler i vannet på ett eller flere dyp, idet i det minte ett av dypene er minst 10 meter, og idet hver seismikkabel innbefatter et antall hydrofoner fordelt langs kabelen, og registrering med hydrofonene av seismikksignaler som reflekteres fra lag i grunnen under saltområdet.
