Abstract

Videre kan hylsen formontere på et av endeavsnittene.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention This invention relates to a connecting device having coaxial end portions (1, 2) on two fluid lines to be connected, said fluid lines at each end portion (1, 2) being provided with a retaining rib (3, 4), with a sleeve (5) having an axial slot (6), a joint (7) opposite to the slot (6), and inside holders (10) for engagement behind the support ribs (3), 4) in grooves (3a, 4a). The joint (7) is so elastically bendable that it will press against the sleeve (6) adjacent portions (8) of the sleeve (5) relative to each other. In order to simplify the coupling with this known connecting device and to allow greater freedom in material selection, the end sections (1, 2) can be inserted axially into the sleeve (5), while elastically extending the slot (6) by 4) slides under the holders (10), all the way into the rear of the holders (10), the axial width of the holders (10) corresponding to the width of the grooves (3a, 4a). In such a solution, the connecting device can be handled in a simple manner as a plug connection for connecting the end sections (1,2) of the fluid lines. Furthermore, the sleeve can be mounted on one of the end sections.
