Abstract
System og fremgangsmåte for styring av seismiske kilder, og som muliggjør avfyring av en seismisk kilde enten ved et nøyaktig tidspunkt eller ved en nøyaktig posisjon for den seismiske kilden. Styring av avfyringen av den seismiske kilden gjør det lettere å oppnå mer nøyaktige data og en mer konsistent seismisk kildesignatur. Undersøkelsessystemet omfatter et flertall av mottakere utplassert i et borehull, en seismisk kildeklynge ved en sjø overflate på et forhåndsbestemt sted relativt til borehulls-mottakerne, et håndteringssystem, en navlestreng, og en i-sjø-kilderegulator konfigurert til gjentatt avfyring av individuelle kilder i den seismiske kildenklyngen med aktivering av flere kilder når de er på samme høyde relativt til borehulls-mottakerne, basert på variasjoner av høyde på grunn av marine forhold; hvor systemet er konfigurert til å detektere forandringer i høyde av den seismiske kildeklyngen relativt til borehulls-mottakerne; og i-kilderegulatoren er videre konfigurert til gjentatt avfyring av individuelle kilder i den seismiske kildeklyngen når den detekterte høyden til den seismiske kildeklyngen relativt til borehulls-mottakerne er den samme som den forhåndsbestemte høyden.
