Abstract

The cross-section through the trawl door has a predominantly dihedral shape, with horizontal angular bottom line substantially along the center line of the trawl door, the angle having an angular value of between approx. 1650 and 1750 and is open to the dorsal side. The trawl door is suitable for low speed fishing, especially for shrimp fishing in cold water.
