Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte til å forbinde byggedeler av duktilt støpejern og av duktilt støpejern og stål ved hjelp av lysbuesveising med avsmeltende elektrode under dekkgass. I dekkgassen er det her i tillegg til argon I til 25 vol.-% karbondioksid og/eller o,5 til 10 vol.-% oksygen. Videre kan dekkgassen inneholde nitrogenmonoksid. Fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen muliggjør høye sveisehastigheter og dermed en høy produktivitet. For å forbedre sveisefugekvaliteten enda mer er det videre en fordel med en forvarming av byggedelene og også en langsommere avkjøling eller en sveisefugebehandling.
