Abstract

Elektromagnetisk ultralydtransduser uten koplingsmedium for generering og/eller mottak av ultralydbølger i form av lineærpolariserte transversalbølger i, respektivt fra, et arbeidsstykke, som har minste en enhet som omformer ultralydbølger inne i arbeidsstykket og som er anordnet med en spoleanordning for å generere, respektivt detektere et høyfrekvent magnetfelt så vel som en formagnetisert enhet for å generere et kvasi-statisk magnetfelt som overlagres det høyfrekvente magnetfeltet i arbeidsstykket, med spoleanordning anordnet på en ringformet måte på minst én delvis ringformet eller U-formet magnetkjerne som hver har to frontender som kan dreies med fronten mot arbeidsstykket. Oppfinnelsen er kjennetegnet ved at frontendene av magnetkjernen som dreies mot arbeidsstykket, er forbundet direkte eller indirekte med et ledestykke for magnetisk fluks som har en overflate vendt mot arbeidsstykket og som forbinder frontendene med hverandre.
