Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for behandling av en underjordisk formasjon som gjennomtrenges av en brønn hvori en første og en andre strømningsbane er opprettet fra brønnhodet frem til i nærheten av formasjonen. Et gjenstoppingsfluid som omfatter en oppslemming av et gjenstoppingsmiddel i partikkelform i en bærevæske blir sirkulert inn i den første strømningsbane og i kontakt med brønnveggen inne i den underjordiske formasjon. Bærevæsken blir separert fra gjenstoppingsmiddelet partikkelform ved å føre bærevæsken gjennom et sett av åpninger som fører til den andre strømningsbane, og som er dimensjonert for å tillate passasje av bærevæsken mens tilstoppingsmiddelet i partikkelform tilbakeholdes i kontakt med åpningssettet. Sirkuleringen av tilstoppingsfluidet fortsetter inntil tilstoppingsmiddelet i partikkelform samles opp slik at det dannes en bropakning inne i brønnen. Etter å ha opprettet denne bropakning, blir et behandlingsfluid ført inn i brønnen gjennom den første strømningsbane og i kontakt med formasjonens overflate i brønnen og nær inntil bropakningen. Dette behandlingsfluid kan være et fraktureringsfluid eller et syresettingsfluid. Et opprensningsfluid blir sirkulert inn i den andre strømningsbane for å fjerne bropakningen.
