Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for å skille induserte mikroseismiske signaler fra seismiske signaler akkvirert i forbindelse med aktive seismiske overvåkningsoperasjoner som utføres i undergrunnssoner under utvikling. Seismiske registreringer dannes fra signaler sendt ut av én eller flere seismiske kilder som styres av ortogonale signaler. Dersom det anvendes flere kilder behandles signalene for å skille de respektive bidragene fra de seismiske kildene til de mottatte signalene og for å rekonstruere seismogrammer som til- svarer de som ville bli oppnådd ved å aktivere de seismiske kildene hver for seg. De induserte mikroseismiske signalene (passiv seismikk) skilles fra de seismiske signalene som kommer fra kilder 5 (aktiv seismikk) hovedsaklig ved å isolere bidraget fra disse gjennom sammenlikning med en referanse-spektralmodell ved de utsendte grunnfrekvensene og ved deres respektive harmoniske komponenter, og ved i tidsdomenet å rekonstruere de induserte mikroseismiske signalene og signalene fra de seismiske kildene 5. Anvendelser: seismisk overvåkning av undergrunns hydrokarbon- eller fluidlagringsreservoarer.
