Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for bestemmelse i sann tid av resistivitetsanisotropi (ved brannstedet) ved å bruke laterale gruppelogger eller enten andre ufokuserte logger med målinger av lateraltypen og gruppeinduksjonslogger eller eventuelt andre fokuserte, målinger av induksjonstypen. Nesten vertikale brønner med en avviksvinkel mindre enn 30°, blir tatt i betraktning. Siden den injiserte strøm med en laterallogg ved hver loggedybde har både horisontale og vertikale komponenter, inneholder dataene informasjon vedrørende både horisontal (Rh) og vertikal (Rv) resistivitet. Med et gruppeinduksjonsvertkøy har den induserte strømmen i nesten vertikale brønner bare en horisontal komponent, og induksjonsdataene inneholder informasjon bare vedrørende Rh.
