Abstract
SAMMENDRAG Foreliggende oppfinnelse er en fremgangsmåte for å bestemme horisontal formasjonsskjærbølgehastighet, transversal formasjonsisotropi og effektiv loggesonde-modulus. Fremgangsmåten omfatter å bestemme en effektiv loggesonde-modulus ved å modellere loggesonden som et fluidfylt sylindrisk skall. Målte Stoneley-bølgelangsomhetsverdier blir innsamlet fra en formasjon. En horisontal formasjonsskjærbølgehastighet, Vsh, blir beregnet som en funksjon av den målte Stoneley-bølgelangsomheten og en estimert Stoneley-bølgelangsomhet, hvor den estimerte gjennomsnittlige Stoneley-bølgelangsomheten blir beregnet ved å bruke den effektive sondemodulusen.
