S a m m e n d r a g Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en fremgangsmåte for å sette ut og hente inn utstyr på havbunnen inkludert trinnene: å tilveiebringe ledeorganer (200) med en fiksert ende og en fri ende (201); å frigjøre nevnte ledeorganer (200) i et vannlegeme (210) fra et fartøy (220) inntil nevnte frie ende (201) når, eller er nær ved en havbunn (230) av nevnte vannlegeme (210), sleping av ledeorganene (200) bak nevnte fartøy (220) ved en kontrollerbar fart; glidbart feste utstyret (240) inkludert en gjenvinningsmodul (241) og stoppeorganer (242) til nevnte ledeorganer (200), hvor utstyret, gjenvinningsmodulen og stoppeorganene er sikret til hverandre av en forbindelse (244); å gli utstyret (240) til den frie ende (201) av ledeorganer (200), idet utstyret (240) blir fiksert i posisjon på havbunnen (230) av stoppeorganet (242) når stoppeorganet når havbunnen; aktivering av gjenvinningsmodulen (241) for å tillate utstyret (240) å stige opp fra havbunnen (230) til en overflate av vannet; og hente inn utstyret (240) fra overflaten av vannet.
