Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å utføre fortrinnsvis observering av en eksponert posisjon (I c) i et makromolekyl. En prøve blir anskaffet som har et makromolekyl (1 a) med et første proton (1) og et andre molekyl (2a) med et andre proton (2). Det påtrykkes et magnetisk felt (4) på prøven og så blir prøven bestrålt med en pulssekvens (5) som fortrinnsvis demagnetiserer protoner i makromolekylet (1, 3) relativ til det andre protonet (2), å utveksles (6) med et eksponert proton (1) i makromolekylet, og å detektere magnetiseringen fra det relativt magnetiserte andre protonet (2), som nå er bundet til den eksponerte posisjonen (lc) i makromolekylet. Foreliggende oppfinnelse gir også en fremgangsmåte for å observere posisjon i makromolekylet som binder en ligand.
