Abstract

The safety device uses a load torque limitation device (1) coupled to measuring sources (6) and command input and signalling devices (5), a control unit (4) and a testing and checking system (3) mounted on the transport vehicle for the mobile crane. An auxiliary signal processing device (2) provides additional safety monitoring in conjunction with a deflection angle sensor (7), for cut-out of the crane hydraulics via a switching relay, magnetic valve or power switch.
