Abstract

Det beskrives glassmatter og deres fremstilling.Særlig beskrives det en våtleggingsmetode for fremstilling av en glassmatte og de der-ved fremstilte matter. Fremstillingen av matten inkluderer en sammenføring av et dis-pergeringsmiddel, vann, glassfiberbunter og en ladet viskositetsmodifiserer for å danne en oppslemming, og sette en motsatt ladet viskositetsmodifiserer til oppslemmingen og å fjerne vannet fra oppslemmingen for å danne en våt glassmatte.Oppfinnelsens fremgangsmåte muliggjør forbedret kontroll av fiberdispergeringen og den etterfølgende bunting av fibrene for å tildanne for eksempel buntede glassmatter med høy porøsitet og enhetlig vekt.Glassmatter som fremstilles ved denne fremgangsmåte kan anvendes i et stort antall produkter som glassfiberpapir, takshingel og komposittgjenstander. ,v*
