Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse omhandler en fremgangsmåte for å fremstille et pattedyr heparinbindende protein i en pattedyrcelle som kan bli dyrket under anaerobe betingelser etter å ha introdusert en nukleinsyre som koder som heparinbindende protein inn i nevnte celle som omfatter (a) å introdusere inn i nevnte pattedyrcelle en nukleinsyre som koder for nevnte heparinbindende protein; (b) å dyrke cellen fra trinn (a) under betingelser som er fremmende for ekspresjon av nevnte HBP; og (c) å gjenvinne nevnte HBP fra dyrkningsmediet. Videre omhandler oppfinnelsen den rekombinante pattedyrcellen som blir benyttet i fremgangsmåten.The present invention relates to a process for producing a mammalian heparin binding protein in a mammalian cell which can be cultured under anaerobic conditions after introducing a nucleic acid encoding as heparin binding protein into said cell which comprises (a) introducing into said mammalian cell a nucleic acid cell encoding said heparin binding protein; (b) culturing the cell of step (a) under conditions conducive to expression of said HBP; and (c) recovering said HBP from the culture medium. Furthermore, the invention relates to the recombinant mammalian cell used in the method.
