Abstract

Det angis en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en elektrisk isolator, hvorved det på et formstykke til isolatoren påføres et hydrofobt plasmapolymerbelegg. Plasmapolymerbelegget fremstilles derved ved aktivering av et plasma i en arbeidsgass som er upolar eller som har upolare grupper ved et arbeidstrykk mellom l l O"5 mbar og 5 ¿ 10"' mbar. Den elektriske effekten pr. kammervolum ligger mellom 0,5 og 5 kW/m3, gass-strømmen pr. kammervolum ligger mellom 10 og 1000 sccm/m3. Det blir fremstilt et varig, hardt og hydrofobt plasmapolymerbelegg med en kvalitet som ikke er avhengig av materialet anvendt for formstykket.
