En alarmutgang (4) hos overvåkeren har en forbindelse (5) til en inngang (6) hos en MS-AIS-generator (7) hos seksjons-nær-enden, og bevirker sending av et MS-AIS til en seksjons-fjern-ende (8) når overvåkeren påviser en nær-ende-telekommunikasjonsutstyrsfeil.
