Parametrene omfatter f.eks. et valg mellom begrensning av basestasjonens (100) mottakerfølsomhet og begrensning av samkanal- interferens, en maksimal, akseptert hastighet for den abonnentterminal (150) som kommuniserer med basestasjonen (100) via radioforbindelsen (170), diameteren av basestasjonens (100) celle, en maksimal forsinkelses- spredning, informasjon som indikerer om nabo-basestasjoner er synkrone.
