Abstract

Ved en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av salpetersyre, hvor ammoniakk forbrennes på minst ett katalysatornett, spesielt platinanett, under tilførsel av oksygen, og hvor reaksjonsgassene avkjøles, er det for å unngå frigivning av lattergass forutsatt at reaksjonsgassene nedstrøms for katalysatornettet og før kjølingen føres over en temperaturstabil katalysator for omvandling av det N0 som reaksjonsgassene inneholder.
