However, if the container is to be handled by means of a fork-lift device, regardless of whether there are goods in the container or not and with the container in the position shown in fig. 1 be a risk that the bottom surface 7 is turned upwards as the hooks II are lifted up from the wire 12 and the walls 4 and 5 can be turned inwards about the aforementioned vertical pivots. To prevent this, while allowing the roll container to be easily folded for stacking, wire projections 13 are attached to the respective vertical wires 14 in the wall 5, at places directly above the wire 12. The bottom surface 7 is displaceable in both horizontal directions in parallel to the walls 4 and 5 along the thread 12 for a limited length corresponding to the horizontal division for the vertical threads in the wall 5, minus the total dimension for each hook 11, this limited length being somewhat greater than the maximum projection of each projection 13 from the vertical wire 14 along the horizontal wire 12. Thus, in the relative position between each projection 13 and the hook 11 which is located immediately below the projection, in the position shown in figure 3, the projections 13 will lie in the path for turning the bottom surface 7 from the lowered position shown in Figures 1 and 3 to the raised position shown in Figure 2, and thus affect the adjacent edge zone of the bottom surface 7 fo r to prevent rotation of the bottom surface 7 from the submerged position and thus keep it in this position. It is at the relative position between the projections 13 and the hooks 11, which is shown in Figure 3, that the container can be handled by a fork-lift device. The bottom surface of each projection 13 is advantageously slightly inclined towards its vertical thread 14 so that the associated hook 11 is wedged under it during normal use to prevent the hooks 11 and thus the surface 7 from being shaken loose from the underside of the projections 13 during such use. When it is desired for the container to be folded, the surface 7 is shifted manually in the horizontal direction and in relation to the location of the projections 13, in order to move the hooks 11 away from the position under the projections 13, so that the surface 7 can be swung up about the horizontal wire 10 from the lowered position shown in figure 1 to the raised position shown in figure 2.
