Abstract

A device for placing information/advertising (1) on the filler gun (2) of a fuel pump, comprising a carrying body (3) having at least one display surface (4) for said information/advertising placed over the head of said gun. The carrying body (3) extends in the longitudinal direction of the gun head and comprises an attachment component (5) which grips around the whole of or part of said gun head and/or the barrel of the gun. The attachment component (5) comprises, in a simple embodiment, an attachment band (5a) fixed to the underside of the carrying body (3) by means of expedient means, e.g., an eye/groove (6). The display surface (4) of the carrying body (3) lies in a recess (11) for the accommodation of the information/advertising label (1), which can be protected by means of a transparent cover plate (12) having pins (13) which interact with securing apertures (14) in an upwardly projecting edge (10) which forms the recess (11). <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE>

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en anordning for plassering av informasjon/reklame på en drivstoffpumpes påfyllingspistol, omfattende et ovenpå pistolens hode plassert bærelegeme med minst en framvisningsflate for nevnte informasjon/reklame, slik som angitt i innledningen til det etterfølgende selvstendige krav 1. This problem can of course be solved by producing sleeves with different designs adapted to different shapes of the filling gun.

This display surface 4 can contain clear information about e.g. fuel quality and brand on one part, and where the other part of the surface may have an advertising message applied to it.

Claims

1. Device for placing information/advertising (1) on a fuel pump's filling gun (2), comprising a support body (3) placed on top of the gun's head (2a) with at least one display surface (4) for said information/advertisement, and comprising a fastening part (5 ) which grips completely or partially around said gun head (2a) and/or the gun's barrel (2b), characterized in that the display surface (4) of the support body (3) extends in the longitudinal direction of the gun head (2a) approximately from the rear edge (2b') of the gun barrel (2b) at the front edge (2a') of the pistol head (2a), and backwards approximately to the front edge (2c') of the pistol head (2a) handle (2c).

2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the support body (3) is designed with a skirt (7) extending downwards from the display surface (4) to surround the sides of the gun head (2a), and with an opening (5b) which forms a fastening part (5) in the skirt (7) ) at one end (3a) of the support body (3) for fitting onto the gun barrel (2b) and possibly the front end of the gun head (2a).

Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the rear part (3b) of the support body (3) is pivotably connected to its front part (3a) via a hinge part (8) across the display surface (4), the skirt (7) being split from each end of the hinge part (8) and out to the edge of the skirt (7a), in order to engage behind the gun head (2a) in the lowered position.

4. Device according to claim 3, characterized by detachable fastening means (9) arranged in the opposite split parts of the skirt (7).

5. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the display surface (4) comprises a front and a rear part (4a, 4b), at an angle to each other.

Device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the display surface (4) is surrounded by a protruding edge (10) to form a recess (11) for receiving sheet-shaped information/advertising (1), and optionally a transparent cover plate ( 12), optionally with fastening means (13) for cooperation with complementary fastening means (14) in/at said protruding edge (10).
