Description
The invention relates to a bag emptying machine consisting of a stand, a rectilinear movable bag insertion device, a bag slitting device, a bag vibrating device and an ejection device for empty bags.
It is a known fact that material made in sacks, e.g. cement, starch, PVC powder and the like, have a tendency to clump together during long-term storage so that a problem arises when the contents are emptied out of its storage bag. Large consumers of such materials have therefore used sack emptying machines which, in addition to cutting open all or part of the sack, also vibrate the sack so that the material crumbles and falls out. Many types of bag emptying machines have previously been known, and most of these machines have various disadvantages, such as poor function, difficult handling, frequent operational disruptions due to the strong stress and the difficult environment in which the machine has to work, where the large content of dust particles places particularly great stress on e.g. surfaces that are in sliding contact with each other. Other disadvantages of the previously known machines are difficult adjustability for different bag sizes, slowness, and expensive manufacturing.
The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages, and this is achieved by a machine of the type indicated at the outset which is characterized by the characterizing features specified in claim 1.
The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the drawings, where fig. 1 shows a perspective view of the sack emptying machine in its entirety, where certain parts of the outer casing have been cut away, fig. 2 shows a top view of a part included in the machine, fig. 3 shows the bag insertion device of the machine in the position it assumes at the beginning of a work operation, fig. 4 is a diagram showing the position of the guide device when the sack has been dropped onto the sack base, and fig. 5 is a diagram showing the bag insertion device in its position when the bag is on the base, during its return to the original position.
Da forskjellige sekkstørrelser forekommer, bør de to The one in fig. 1, the bag emptying machine shown in its entirety comprises an outer housing or a casing consisting of front and rear side walls 1, end walls 2, a roof 3 as well as a swivelable sealing cap 4 whose swiveling movement is indicated in the drawing by arrow A. Inside the machine's casing there is a bag insertion device 5, a bag bed or base 6, a hoop 7 for holding the bag and an ejector hoop 8 for the empty bag. The hoop 7 for pressing down the bag has a swinging movement indicated by arrow B, while the movement of the hoop 8 for ejecting the empty bag is indicated by arrow C. The movement of the bag insertion device 5 is marked by arrow D. The insertion device 5 performs a rectilinear reciprocating movement, as marked by arrow D, in that it is slidably carried in rails 9 and 10 by means of running wheels 11 mounted on the side surfaces of a main frame 12. Two side-by-side parallel support rails 13 are equipped with support wheels or support rollers 14 to support the two in the insertion device including table halves 15 resp. 16 which is pivotally stored in the main frame 12 at its outwardly facing long sides. Between the two table halves 15 and 16 is a space to enable a slicing tool 18 during the operation of the machine to cut open the underside of a bag placed on the table halves 15 and 16 when the insertion device is displaced as indicated by arrow D and the slicing tool 18 is driven by means of a not shown engine. Control devices exist for precise control of the movement of the main frame 12 in the side rails 9 and 10. Support rails 19 and 20 provided with downward sliding surfaces are placed on the two table halves 15 and 15 respectively. 16 for cooperation with the support rollers 14 on the support rails 13. In fig. 1, the initial position of the introduction device is shown with solid lines, while the position it takes when the bag is dropped onto the bag bed 6 is shown with dotted lines. The sack bed 6 consists of two halves, the construction of which is shown in Fig. 2. Two angle irons 21 are provided with retaining nails 22 to keep the bag in its correct position. To prevent the bag from hanging down between the angle irons 21, cover plates 23 are arranged on top of each other in such a way that only a space is formed between them for sufficient space for the bag thrower bar 8. When different bag sizes occur, the two
For å muliggjøre vibrering er halvdelene montert i gummiisolerte lagre og herved kan begge sekkeleie-halvdeler vibreres uten at noen vesentlig vibrasjon påføres maskinen forøvrig. halves 23 be displaceable in relation to each other for adaptation to different bag sizes, and as the ejector hoop 8 is fixed in its position, the two cover plates 23 should be mounted in a displaceable manner so that they can be adapted to the position of the bag bearing halves. The bag bearing halves are mounted in the machine in such a way that they can be vibrated either by means of a vibrator common to both halves (as shown in fig. 1 by the vibrator 24) or as shown in fig. 2 of a vibrator 25 for each half. In order to enable vibration, the halves are mounted in rubber-insulated bearings and thereby both bag bearing halves can be vibrated without any significant vibration being applied to the rest of the machine.
The hoop 8 for ejecting empty bags is, as stated above, pivotable upwards-outwards as indicated by arrow C, and the device for effecting this pivoting movement is mounted in a housing 26 attached to the side wall 1, and the mechanism for transmitting the pivoting movement is in fig. 1 marked with 27.
4. The machine according to the invention works in the following way: At the beginning of the work operation, the insertion device 5 is located in the one in fig. 3 shown position. A sack is placed on the table halves 15 and 16, which, in addition to being carried by the side rails 9 and 10, are also carried by the support rails 13 by means of the rollers 14 on the same. The main frame 12 with the table halves 15 and 16 and the same placed bag is moved to the left in fig. 1, as indicated by arrow D, and when the slitting tool 18 rotates, the underside of the sack is slit as the sack passes past it. When the main frame 12 has been moved so far to the left that the table halves 15 or 16 running rails 19 pass past the last of the support rollers 14 on the support rails 13, the inner parts of the halves 15, 16 lose their supporting support and the halves are swung down about their pivot axes, and the sack falls onto the sack bed 6, as shown in fig. 4.
Når sekken er anbragt på sekkeleiet 6, svinges nedtrykningsbøylen 7 ned som markert ved pilen B og holder sekken stadig på plass på leiet When the bag is placed on the bed 6, the halves 15 and 16 return to their horizontal position by means of return springs 29 after which the main frame 12 and the table halves 15 and 16 are returned to the starting position. When the bag is placed on the bag bed 6, the push-down bracket 7 is swung down as marked by arrow B and keeps the bag constantly in place on the bed
6. Vibratoren 24 vibrerer sekkeleiet 6 således at innholdet 6. The vibrator 24 vibrates the sack bed 6 so that the contents
1 viste stilling. in the bag is shaken out and falls into the chute 28. When the bag has been emptied of its entire contents, the empty bag ejector 8 is activated to swing upwards-outwards as indicated by arrow C, thereby also swinging the swinging hatch 4 out as shown by arrow A to the position shown with dotted lines, so that the empty bag can fall out from inside the machine. Before the empty bag is ejected by means of the ejector 8, the depression bar 7 has of course been brought up to the one in fig. 1 displayed position.
With the help of the present invention, a bag emptying machine is provided which is completely enclosed during its work operation, whereby the previously very troublesome dust from the work operation is prevented from leaving the interior of the machine, whereby an improvement of the working environment is achieved. The shown and described introduction device for the bags shows great reliability with regard to its function, the slitting tool used provides slitting of the underside or bottom part of the bag with little power consumption and great safety, and the new vibration suspension of the bag bearing halves means that vibrations are not transferred to the machine's stand, which has previously been the case. The presence of the push-down bar and the bar for ejecting empty bags gives the machine good working function. The arrangement of the removable cover plates on the sack bed enables adaptation to different sizes without the risk of some sack parts hanging down between the elements that carry the sack.
Certain illustrative and currently preferred embodiments are described above and illustrated in the drawings, but one skilled in the art will realize that modifications and variations can be made within the scope of the subsequent patent claims. Thus, e.g. the support rails 13 and the support rollers 14 mounted on the same are replaced by other support devices to support the table halves 15 or 16 during their movement from the loading area for sacks and up to the place where the sack is handed over by the table halves swinging down. Such a device consists of one or more support arms placed on the stand, and the device may also include a spring-loaded stop device to stop the table from moving. Other types of support devices can also be envisaged as will be realized by a person skilled in the art.
